Quiet Reflections from June 2026

In addition to my regular posts, Quiet Reflections is an ongoing series where I share selected photographs from the past month. These images didn’t quite belong to a more specific post, or they don’t have a story I feel compelled to write. Rather than letting them go unseen, I created this series to share them with you as part of my ongoing visual life. The monthly rhythm gives me just enough distance from the moments I photographed to see if they still speak to me.
Four weeks ago I got back from a trip through Southern Colorado and Santa Fe, where the photos in this post were taken. I haven’t been on Substack much since then because most of my free time has gone into figuring out long-term care for my father, who was recently diagnosed with dementia. I hope to get back to posting more frequently soon. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these photos from my trip in June 2026.
