In addition to my regular posts, Quiet Reflections is an ongoing series where I share selected photographs from the past month. These images didn’t quite belong to a more specific post, or they don’t have a story I feel compelled to write. Rather than letting them go unseen, I created this series to share them with you as part of my ongoing visual life.
As I mentioned in my last post, I haven’t had much time for photography in recent weeks due to personal circumstances. However, I did manage to get out one day with my camera during July. I decided to fill my world with more color by closely observing little details in our backyard garden. While doing so, I attempted a few in-camera double-exposures (thanks for the inspiration, Manuela Thames)!
The final two images are photos I took of the inside of flowers picked from our backyard.
